Thank you for keeping this conversation from turning all “civilizationally” Euroid. A recent trek in Sikkim with a homegrown scholar of Tibetan Buddhism as guide brought home to me how provincial our Abrahamic obsessions are. And dangerous, in that we see the world as cycling once and ending in a flash-bang, where older civilizations see it as cycling eternally and majestically.
I admit to not understanding most of that but also to being totally excited to find out soon! In the meantime Rav please give an update on Jay as I can't find anything on the internet which seems mysterious. He needs to take the wheel at NIH, well, yesterday....
