Desmet has many wonderful insights that apply to individuals in their quest to become more attuned to nature and to each other.
However, his ideas have no application to a free society, whose main fight isn't against lack of resonance but against censorship and propaganda. To fight these we need critical thinking and good-will.
Notice that Desmet says little about censorship, yet censorship is the great danger we face. Censorship of speech, of science, of bank accounts, of movement, etc.
I agree with you, Jim, and why is it that people only talk about the division, but hardly about the connection we can make? For instance, music. Music with the right frequencies? Classical music to start with. Watch this: in a totally different culture. It brings you to real tears from deep within the heart, to see how people unite in a heartbeat.
