I like it overall, especially the interesting inclusion of the US flag in the graphic but it seems to be lacking that little something that grabbed my attention and packed a little punch. But I rarely ever actually watch a podcast; 99% of the time I’m only listening. So when I listened only, it reconfirmed what I first thought.
I appreciate the desire to up the production value but I'm not sure it's necessary. As I've said elsewhere, if you're worried about how flashy your videos look or whether you have the best looking format, you're probably trying to distract from what's actually valuable. The content itself.
Electronic music sucks like one man bands, digital. How about acoustical raga or JS Bach fuge. Graphics nothing but nervous resynthesized eye strain that is antithesis of rational thought with which you hope to save the real world. Abort and simplify in good taste.
I guess it’s true that your podcasts do look a bit like zoom calls. LOL I was fine with that, but this is really well done. Looks/sounds great! Regardless, it’s the content that really matters. I’ll watch anything with Dr. Jay. Best fringe epidemiologist ever. Some more in person podcasts would be nice…albeit, logistically more difficult, I realize. Surely, another one with John Ioannidis wouldn’t be too difficult to arrange?? And Rav, keep up the great work! You do our country proud, my man.
Yep. Some people are turned off by this kind of visual. It bothers their eyes then their brains. Legitimate opinion. Creators should be aware. I am a paying fan of this podcast, so I have a vested interest in how it presents.
Congratulations! The only thing that bothered me previously with the podcasts was the sound glitched -- pauses, hesitations in the delivery. Content is Queen.
I don't care much about the presentation, as long as it's reasonably easy to watch. Bells and whistles do not impress me. I appreciate greatly the content, and the genuine, trustworthy sincerity that is the foundation of this podcast.
Could the music for the intro be arranged differently? And tempo sped up a bit? I think the tempo/ melodic structure coupled by the use of synthesized strings somehow conveys that the show is borderline dour and depressing journalism. While the show should present professionally and be taken seriously, the tone of the music should convey a lighter mood to match the faith in humanity from you guys. Not an aspiring musician here, just a subscriber that knows what she doesn't dig

This distracts from your good work.

Too psychedelic. Headache-inducing.
It’s 15 seconds! If you get a headache in 15 seconds, you should probably see a doctor. God, some people.

A few people per million, sure. Would've been good to say you're in that group when you posted though. No wonder you got some kickback

Love it! Great punch and very professional/TV looking. Take that MSM!
Boom!
Looking forward to your new guests.
Re the intro: visually a little too much red
The intro is fine. Like Ricky Nelson said "You can't please everybody so you gotta please yourself."
