Personally, I would name names at this point. We are in a war. I get that you hope to publish and get paid for a future article but this will never move the needle. In any case, don't let a good article go to waste, my suggestion is publish your piece on X and ask readers to guess which main stream media wouldn't accept it. Could be fun!

Posting on X is a great idea. Naming names, too. Change never happens from compliance.

The legacy media is in a death cycle now because they are totally beholden to their advertisers ( especiallly big pharma, as well as local politicans, and under rhe thumb of govt agencies ) it's been like that for decades. Things will change, finally under Trump. The whole medical professioni is corrupt and controlled by big oharma and the media is forced to support their lies it is a giant bouse of cards. I am in my 70' s and worked for a major newspaper in Chicago back in the 1960's and saw the corruption back then first hand.

Hey Rav, I would ask you to publish your pre-selfcensorship version (on your Substack ⁉️) —> as well as the text you submitted to the big-name publication you are shielding. This would certainly make for an interesting compare & contrast exercise🤣😱

Your dilemma is one that so many share: deciding the extent to which you feel obligated to muffle your own voice so as to get at least a fraction of your perspective through the gatekeepers and make a living. Thank you for your honesty about that.

*** We have certainly been thoroughly conditioned in recent years to thought-police our inner voice. ***

Quite a chilling microcosm of the ‘invisible’ damage wrought on broad public debate by this totalitarian framework of self-suppression.

Am thankful at least that the ever potent #CIC, the #CensorshipIndustrialComplex, has been largely if now fully unmasked.

Rav, I feel your pain! I'm so sorry. I had a piece I was working on for *months* with a major media outlet you would all know. It was on ADHD and the overdrugging of children. First they made me take out all spiritual references, then they made me take out all criticisms of modern education, then they made me take out all historical references to past episodes when medical consensus was wrong, until there was nothing left but the most tame, anodyne, generic, dumbed-down story - and then they killed even that. And each month, each step of the way, they were like, "we love this idea, we loves this story, it's just that our readers probably won't be comfortable with this xyz part... blah blah blah" until there was nothing left. infuriating.

and if you want a really funny one, I have a book on this topic. no joke, this is what one of the country's most prominent literary agents said about my book in 2020, just before Covid madness took off: "I’ve been reading tonight and I’m knocked out. This is brilliant. Yes it’s about ADHD but it’s about much more than that. [...] This is a work that can have great impact. And you’re a great storyteller with a wonderful narrative voice."

record scratch, fast forward to 2024, the exact same agent, responding to my polite inquiry about the exact same manuscript, and why he hasn't been pitching it: "the execution makes this a high bar for publishing, at least from a mainstream publisher. I’m all for strong opinions but I think here the inflammatory perspective interferes with the argument and works against you. The larger story of “the end of childhood” is especially powerful. But it’s so hard-edged and one-sided that i’m skeptical readers will come to this."

Again, literally the exact same book, read by the exact same person. But one was before Covid drove all the groupthink lemmings insane, and one was after, when criticizing any pharmaceutical is now "inflammatory" and unfit for mainstream publishing.

To repeat, I feel your pain. Here's hoping the truth will be allowed to get out somewhere other than substack!

Rest assured, it has nothing to do with you personally, but the byproduct of what I call: The Nazification of Humanity.

The crucial difference between this present manifestation and the rise of Nazi Germany is that this time it doesn't march under a single flag or rally behind obvious symbols worn on lapels and armbands. Instead, it gestates within the individual human psyche, making it far more pervasive and, therefore, omnipresent in its global expression.

The erosion of individual accountability, amplified by the allure of instant gratification and the fear of repercussions, has created a society where the majority is predisposed to follow orders without question.

Milgram's famous obedience experiment has shed light on a disturbing truth: approximately 70% of people are willing to follow orders without personal scrutiny. This finding is further reinforced by the Human Design System, which reveals that around 7 out of 10 individuals inherently struggle with consistent access to willpower and self-esteem.

When we combine these two insights, a chilling conclusion emerges: a significant majority of the population is predisposed to follow orders indiscriminately, driven primarily by a desire for validation or fear of retribution from their superiors.

In other words, in most cases, this blind obedience is not driven by malice or ill intent, but rather stems from the powerful influences of social pressure, fear, or alternatively, the byproduct of a hijacked amygdala, leading to an uncontrolled addiction to gratifying momentary impulses of pleasure, such as the pursuit of money, status, and influence.

On the flip side, this hijacking also manifests as an inability or unwillingness to confront truths, necessary to confront but are uncomfortable, which in our world often takes the form of censorship. This censorship serves to limit the spectrum of opinions to only those that provide pleasurable stimuli, rather than focusing on what is truly important to know and understand.

These innate human tendencies have found their perfect amplifier in modern technology, which systematically reinforces humans worst impulses. This hyperactive, automatic, and unfocused existence, devoid of any self-restraining or filtering mechanism, prevents people from recognizing how blindly following orders can lead to catastrophic outcomes for themselves and their environment.

Tragically, when these consequences eventually manifest, those responsible are often unable to connect them to their own lack of personal responsibility. This disconnection creates a self-reinforcing cycle where each element - compliance, pleasure-seeking, technological dependence, and willful ignorance - strengthens the others.

This vicious cycle ultimately gives rise to a world where evil can flourish. By succumbing to the allure of pleasure and the fear of discomfort, an environment is created where critical thinking and moral courage are supplanted by the pursuit of validation and the avoidance of social repercussions.

Therefore we have a society that know nothing but lies. When everybody lies you know then that the end is on the horizon, or as Hannah Arendt said:

“This constant lying eventually ensures that no one believes anything anymore.

A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies, cannot distinguish between right and wrong. And such people, deprived of the power to think and judge, are, without knowing and willing it, completely subjected to the rule of lies.

With such people, you can do whatever you want. “

It's certain that the source of the disease ailing humanity and presently infecting the entire globe is an ancient one, the human psyche. It has been the culprit behind every illnesses that societies have ever faced, needed to cope with and ultimately solve in order to survive. As a result of technological evolution, especially in the last half of the century, the power structure became centralized in a scale never seen before. The solution is that we need to come up with an antidote to the centralization of power, yet at the same time we need to be able to defend our autonomous groups from others.

In the distant past, such as the hunter-gatherer societies, or in small communities the injustices that put the survival of the group at risk were dealt timely and appropriately. The globally interwoven megastructure of societies built in the last century that practically covers the entire globe and controls the life of almost every individual is prone to corruption that leads to the abuse of most of the individuals. If this process goes unchallenged, it'll destroy the entire society from within. I believe there is no other way, but find a way to de-centralize power by establishing autonomous, small communities that can protect themselves from hostile takeovers. Building parallel societies that many people are actively pursuing ever since covid, I believe is the first step toward that direction.

it’s too bad that there are so very very many that do not have the ability to think for themselves or they are just plain too lazy to. they would rather be told how to think how to act how to behave or how not to behave and what to believe

I hear ya loud and clear, having very intelligent friends and family who have such deeply anchored beliefs and intellectual arrogance regarding some matters, no reasoning can get through. At least not until the consensus of establishment "experts" shifts., or they come to realize how captured and corrupted said "experts" have been.

Sad to see they're willing to literally die on that hill alongside siad "experts" for the benefit of those who wish them dead. So my approach has been pointing out the level of corruption of all things establishment, that being the least difficult avenue of intellectual exit from the matrix for those unable to see the forest for the trees.
