Small but important thanks to Joe Rogan for briefly mentioning the contentious vaccine debate I moderated (prior to it releasing) in his latest fight companion UFC podcast episode:
Isn't it very unfair that the "Preview" only contains actual content from one side of the debate (guess which side!) and is cut off before the other side can be heard at all? Can't the preview be extended just a little bit in order to include a similar length of the initial arguments from BOTH sides- isn't that the fair thing to do if there is truly a sincere intent to be neutral and have an "open mind"?
Thanks, Deborah. I appreciate the honest feedback. Getting over this issue I have with disfluency since moving back to an English speaking country (and spending a lot of my adult life not speaking English) has been really challenging for me. Apparently I have replaced "like" with "um" now. I'm just not sure that's real progress...I've been going to speech therapy with my son who has a related issue so hope I can improve in the future. Anyway, I continue to work on it. Sorry to hear it was tough to listen to. I hope the information I provided was accurate- I seem to have much more control over that. Take care!
