Great interview. I agree with most everything except this is not about pharmaceutical industry corruption. One should assume there are bad actors in every industry but it is not fair to characterize every pharma company as a bad actor. This is really about the failure of those responsible for protecting the public interest — the CDC and the FDA. If they did their jobs, many of these scandals (not all) would be prevented.

Wow! Intensely informative reporting, and horrifying at the same time.

It seems being able to trust in virtually everything and everyone has been thoroughly corrupted, so much the even if you do your own due diligence even the algorithms are set against the truth, facts and information you need.

And the people supposedly representing our own best interests on our own government are aiding and abetting these lies and distortions.

What a dismal landscape we are confronted with, where people responsible for the lives and well-being of of others have quite literally sold their souls to the devil leaving in their wake misery, death and destruction.

Dr. Bhattacharya,

Thank you for doing this interview with journalist Sharyl Attkisson. It was very informative and I enjoyed it very much. I must however, disagree with a statement you made starting at ~54m 15s (on Rumble) in which you said "... it was really tough to get vaccines to Africa ... and if you look at the mortality rate from Covid, Africa is actually quite low, and the reason is simple - it's because they have a very young population; less than 3%, I think, is above the age of 65."

I am concerned about, what I would characterize as, your "overemphasis" of chronological age and your inattention (or failure to address) other important factors such as diet, nutrition and ones gut microbiome. Here are a few journal articles, books, etc. that explain this "issue" in greater detail:

(1) The 2021 journal article "The Young Age and Plant-Based Diet Hypothesis for Low SARS-CoV-2 Infection and COVID-19 Pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa" https://doi.org/10.1007/s11130-021-00907-6

(2) The 2020 journal article "Nutrition is key to global pandemic resilience," https://doi.org/10.1136/bmjnph-2020-000160

and

Thank you for all of your good work.

Sincerely,

Gregory Markham.
