I liked your article, it rings true because all the media did the same thing they must have been given the same simple instruction by the owners/investors and allowed to interpret it heavy handedly.
On a side note it seems you have missed the concerns of AT LEAST 30 of your readers with regard to the unfortunate choice of back and foreground colours.
If you are hoping to deliver a message it seems counterproductive to drive a large segment of your readers away.
From Australia, I agree and identify with everything you said. For over three decades I have contributed letters “to the Editor” to our national newspaper. I had, on average, a letter published every week over that period - except for periods when I travelled or abstained from writing.
However, when I began to write letters any way critical of the government’s position of mRNA Covid vaccines, my letters were declined. At first I thought that there had been a change in Editors. However, when I reexamined my last letter submitted (as I write on a variety of issues) I noted that it supported a study that had criticised government policy on the management of the pandemic. I might add that the author of that study was “retired” from his university position shortly after publishing the study.
I have recently complained to people connected with the newspaper and, after a 6 months absence from print, had a letter published in relation to the vaccine question. I suspect that this was done grudgingly, and don’t expect to have more published.
This censorship in support of a highly novel and contentious vaccine shows just how panicked many organisations were about the pandemic. But that this panic could overturn centuries of advocacy of free speech and the spirit of inquiry, is astonishing.
I seriously fear for the future of freedom in our society.
As a fellow-Australian I am glad to read your comment. I have felt so betrayed by my most trusted media, such as ABC. I can no longer partake of any MSM as it makes me feel sick in my stomach to hear people carry on with trivialities pretending nothing happened. If the WHO gets its way and the bankers get their CBDC in, our fate is sealed - regular jabs-with-passports, objections classified as "disinformation/terrorism", and I'll end the list before this blue background gives me a migraine!!

I have spent a great deal of time writing to a variety of newspapers and not a single letter of mine expressing opposition to or even just questioning the madness of the last few years was published. Mainstream media, across the board, has become an arm of government. I no longer consume any of it and feel a sense of relief. I now refuse to queue up and, in some circumstances pay, to be lied-to and manipulated. Thank god for those like Jay, Rav, Taibbi, Kirn, Rogan and others, platforms like Substack and organisations like Brownstone that have allowed people a voice.

Yes, it is interesting that some doctors are still pro-shots despite all the evidence. Are they trying to maintain their "respectability" and not be caste into the oblivion of those labelled as "antivaxxers"? MedRxiv, bioRxiv, and MIT preprint sites all refused to accept this preprint - it would have been released weeks earlier but for wasted days waiting for acceptance but being rejected. MIT notified me that I was now blacklist until an author in good standing would be willing to vouch for me - I am still so affended that I prefer being blacklisted. This was the beginning of years of censorship that I been hit with. If you look at Walgreens COVID index, you will see strong evidence supporting our ADE warning with higher rates of COVID-19 in the vaccinated individuals - see graph 3 of 5.
Founding member here, great article. I was fired from my job for refusing the vaccine. My religious exemption was denied, I had Covid and recovered. Didn’t matter. The letter mandating the shots was sent out a week after Walensky went on CNN saying the shots don’t prevent transmission and to get boosted. I’m suing, my case is going into its second year of waiting to be resolved. I appreciate so much your work with Dr Jay ( fitting), keep grinding on this issue. It helps me get through the day.

Rav, you listed a lot of names in this piece who were initially in favor of administering the vaccine (and even consented to it for themselves) as examples of people who were out front in being against the mandates. These are not the same issues. Based on the quotes you used here, the newspaper editors refused your piece because it was "pro vaccine", not because it was "pro mandates". Everyone who was pro mandate was also pro vaccine, but not the other way around.
It's very, very important that we keep track of history because it's being revised on a daily basis, very much to society's detriment. Try to find out who was really out front on these issues because they are the ones who understood the issues and could explain why. These are the people whose insights can help us in the future. Just to have said "jabs bad! Don't get them" is not good enough. That would have been said by every anti-vaxxer, for example, even if they had no idea why You have to explain why. Believe me, if you can't explain in detail what the Major Histocompatibility Complex proteins Classes I, II, and III are, you don't understand the medical science nearly enough to know why the jabs were bad. You could still know not to take them but you didn't understand perhaps the simplest one of many things they could do to the recipient.
You would be shocked at the people who are well-regarded, "credentialed scientific experts" who got the vaccine for themselves and their families, people who are in the media all the time, held up as experts, when many of them were wrong on many things (masks, lockdowns, etc up to vaccines). They were wrong at first and later changed their tune for a variety of reasons.
As to these vaccines, not a single person should have ever received one. Why? - because You NEVER give an injection about which nothing is known of the long-term side effects. NEVER. I made a video about this before the vaccines came out.
In that video, I warned that the vaccine nano-particles containing the modified RNA would travel to distant organs where the CD-8 subset of T cells would wreak havoc (after foreign peptides were presented on their surfaces by the cells located there, to those CD-8 Killer cells in the context of the Class I Major Histocompatibility Complex proteins. )
On January 15, 2021, exactly four days after I showed we reached herd immunity to the Wuhan strain without a single person being fully-vaccinated (after the MDTV Mafia said we needed 90% of the pop. vaccinated to reach H.I.), I showed that the vaccines weren't blocking transmission. If viewers missed the previous video saying we shouldn't take it because we don't know anything about the long-term side effects, they wound have gotten the message in my Jan 24, 2021 video which included the January 11 and 15 revelations. At that point, the vaccine was little more than a syringe full of side effects since it didn't keep one from getting the disease and it didn't help society reach herd immunity (because we had already reached it)..

I don't believe this is correct. With vaccines, one must look at death and severe disease in the contexts of All-cause Morbidity and Mortality. On both of these measures, the mod-RNA vaccines fail miserably, even for the elderly (I can provide relevant studies for you.).

I completely agree with the gist of this comment--even if some of the more technical language flew over my head. I'm just a bloke but I had the common sense to know that, in spite of the repressive 'safe and effective' mantra coming from health officials and MSM, there was no way anyone could know that the shots were safe because there was no long term data. It blows my mind that this simple fact was ignored by so many smart people.
It was not a naive trust - it was money and a lot of money. The government bribed media, researchers, hospitals, and doctors. They paid everybody on top to be silent and to support this exercise. How much does breaking the Nuremberg Code of Ethics cost? 5 trillions dollars.
