Agree 100%. I absolutely do NOT support present-day Democrats and will NOT vote for Harris, but I refuse to be a blind sheep for ANY side. Frankly, I find it very odd and off-putting that so many in the anti-COVID vaccine / "medical freedom" movement (including RFK Jr.) are now cozying up to Trump, the father of Operation Warp Speed who partnered with Pfizer and Moderna for experimental mRNA vaccines in JANUARY 2020, BEFORE any COVID cases were even in the US- look up the dates, and then IN 2023 claimed that he saved 100 million lives and dismissed COVID vaccine safety issues. And beyond COVID and vaccines, there is plenty of other evidence for any HONEST, UNBIASED person to realize that Trump is far from a "great American hero who is uncompromised and cares about the people"; therefore it is flabbergasting to see supposedly independent critical thinkers including RFK Jr. even implicitly spew that kind of nonsense. It's one thing for politicians such as RFK Jr. to do this, but in terms of society at large, it's not only ridiculous and sickening but also very scary to see the extent of atrocities that people are willing to condone as long as the perpetrators are "cool" and "likable" and make them "feel good". This isn't high school.
This unfounded, blind, and sheepish worship of "heroes" (on one "side" it's Trump, on the other "side" it's Harris or Clinton or Obama or whoever- luckily Biden was never really worshipped other than for being "not Trump"; point is, the two big "sides" have far more IN COMMON than people are willing to admit) is exactly what has enabled atrocities all the way from the COVID vaccines and the corrupt medical establishment to the senseless wars, and of course countless other atrocious and unconscionable things, to flourish.
