The discussion at about 33 minutes is the crux of the mask issue: a dozen or more randomized studies, BEFORE COVID, proved that masks DO NOT affect transmission of viruses. It's a well-studied fact that was tossed out the window when the COVID mania took hold. And it drove me crazy as the debate over COVID raged.
I was infuriated also. Having helped to organize a university pandemic plan years earlier, I was appalled by the guilty pandemic players all over the country/ world hurding the sheep. I'm grateful to have been retired prior to 2020. I would have been fired.

It was kind of concerning to me that after quite a bit of discussion centering around how unscientific the entire pandemic response has been (and continues), Jay comments that it’s basically a misguided reaction for people not to trust anything coming from public health officials, like other vaccines for example. He was insinuating that the people who now mistrust public health are unsophisticated reactionaries willing to harm themselves out of fear… Oh, the irony.
Perhaps, if people care to look, the same evidence of other vaccine not being what we have been told (safe and effective) is also true. Perhaps it is a pattern. Perhaps liability protection is not a sign of safe, effective pharmaceuticals. Perhaps it is not an uneducated reaction to be critical of nearly everything coming out of public health and regulatory agencies after all. A hep B vaccine on day one of life for every baby born in America? Please, explain this medical procedure to me and help me understand how uneducated I am for thinking that this is a total scam. I’m ready. And I would love the links to the safety and efficacy studies for this vaccine so that I can change my mind. I’m very open minded to good, solid evidence.
Suzanne Humphries book, Dissolving Illusions, is an excellent read, along with Turtles All the Way Down. There are other great books, I’m sure. And there are thousands of published papers, if you can find them (massive censorship ramped up in 2019 for anyone speaking out against the propaganda surrounding the childhood schedule). You used to be able to find articles online that cataloged all the peer reviewed studies showing massive harms and toxicity but those have all been taken down. Now, you basically have to magically know the name of the specific study in order to find it. It’s a brilliant censorship strategy. But, many books are still out there and available for anyone who really wants to know. Or, have an interview with RFK Jr. He knows the science inside and out. He is a huge advocate for safe and effective vaccines and he also knows that there aren’t any on the market at this time. Please, please, invite him on your show.
Yes, the mandates NEVER made sense to me to require vaccine in patients who had documented infection. That was NEVER the case for any viral disease that I can think of. Robert W. I'm enjoying these podcasts with Jay. In NZ due to the closed border - schools were only closed during heightened alert levels (level 4 being a full lockdown and level 3 was only slightly better but meant most schools couldn't fully open still). Our public health experts constantly pushed masking on children - when i went through what the primary (government endorsed) masking experts were saying to write my substack posts they clearly knew kids weren't at risk but treated them as disease vectors - in 2021 they recommended a reason for school children to mask was so they wouldn't suffer the trauma of killing their teachers!
It was unhinged policy with zero understanding of the outcomes of children. Well into 2022 they even started a lobbying campaign to convince government to mandate masking every winter in schools for any respiratory illness. Luckily it went nowhere!
