Further: Those who suffered due to vaccine mandates deserve some compensation.
Those offered jobs of course do not have to take them, but may take the job for a day, get past compensation, and then resign (to return to their the job that they have today).
What would it take to get all the vaccine mandates reversed?
I mean more specifically: That anyone fired for not getting a vaccine MUST be rehired (or at least offered their former job), that the governing entity issuing the mandate must pay back wages, and that after re-hiring the organization can then fire the person under current law (eg, if a private employer, and “at will” is the law, then “at will” it is).
To reverse the vaccine mandate this way would be good.
A bit expensive (from a social utility viewpoint), but overall a very good lesson.
I believe the facts show that there was never any scientific basis for vaccine mandates. That lesson must be clearly learned.
There were more lawyers personally opposing the mandates back in early 2020 than you might think. Lindy Urso, a Stamford CT attorney sued the Lamont administration to lift the mask mandates. I personallly sued Lamont in Federal Court in New Haven to lift his ridiculous rule limiting gatherings - inside or out - to only 5 people. Before my case began, Lamont changed his rule to 10 people inside and 25 outside - a tacit admission of his error that wasn't even in keeping with CDC diktats. There were many of us but the press was biased and cowardly so these cases got little attention.

Sorry: I meant not getting a Covid vaccine. I believe other vaccines vary: some very good, some not good. I am not trying to address those.
