There is an art/dance form spreading all over the world now, Ecstatic Dance, that is intentionally a silent meditative space with no shoes and no drugs or alcohol that allows for these flow states to be achieved quite readily! Check one out near you :)
This is a fascinating take on electronica music, dance/movement meditation and the bliss-consciousness that can be an outcome, if you're open to it. This resonates with me completely! I don't want to muddy the fun, insights, and introspection of creative, uninhibited movement with stimulants/depressants/alcohol/drugs/caffeine/processed foods. For me, so many kinds of music and movement, and being outdoors, are deeply spiritual practices, privately felt.
This is interesting, and largely contradicts what works for me.
Maybe I go more along the lines of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." I feel a sense of connection when I see mechanisms functioning. Literally well-oiled machined performing their function flawlessly relaxes me.
I've worked those machines, used the various tools and techniques that are required to create whatever reality is needed. It can take concentration and focus to achieve the desired result. Sometimes you enter into a Zen-like state. Maybe not unlike being on a dance floor.
Personally, I take being for granted. The idea of no problem to be solved is, to me, a bit unfortunate. I like to solve problems. I like to create. Just thinking about it is not enough.

Also, don't forget to be your own best friend.

Subvert the dominant paradigm, and dominate the subversive paradigm....
Life, like gender, has duality, but it is NOT "binary"....
So BE HERE NOW....or be there then, either way, I don't care....
