Pretend your the salesman who lives on commission. Would you rather sell vaccines to every child, regardless of need, or MDMA to a few vets who might be persuaded to buy a more profitable patent medicine if MDMA is not available? The sales case.is crystal clear. Medicines that are cheap and medicines that cure are "worth less." Even more so if they cannot be patented.. Medicines that are patented to "prevent" disease statistically are cash cows.
The FDA gets close to 50% of its funding from pharma. It provides the regulations it's paid to produce. The similar organization in the UK is about 85% pharma funded. NONE of these organizations can be trusted. My mantra now: If you must take a drug/injection/whatever, NEVER take one under patent--ever. Go with something with a LOOOOOONG track record and millions or billions of doses--yeah, like ivermectin.
i wouldn't worry too much about trust in institutions. Dr Peter Hotez suggests censorship and even NATO forces banging down your door to enforce "trust." if you don't earn trust you can always score the "illusion" of trust with threats.

My husband and I use DMSO all the time! It is literally the only thing that provides instant, long lasting, narcotic free back pain for him, as soon as I apply it. But we're the bad guys cause we're not at some dr office letting them trap us in their cage like guinea pigs. It's total BS!!!
I am surprised that you show such a limited and incorrect understanding of the MAPS Lykos situation. True, there's a lot of corruption within FDA, but this was the right call. I bet if you understood it better you would agree. The FDA did not reject MDMA therapy, it rejected, rightfully the MAPS Lykos scam because of numerous instances of sexual misconduct, scientific fraud., and faulty ethics. In those days MDMA was a still unknown very effective, legal adjunct to therapy, used underground, quietly, until Doblin snitched on us to gain favor with the government who promptly made it illegal. Then he began his MAPS scam. MDMA was what's known as an orphan drug. That means, no company owns it. The formula, the patent, was public domain. So, in spite of its great value for psychiatry (one of the people I gave it to, a Professor at Harvard Med school said it would become the most valuable drug in psychiatry) no company would venture the 100s of millions it would take to bring it to market, since no one would own the sole rights. So Doblin cooked up a scam, MAPS. Called it a non profit, at first, and over the next forty years solicited donations, tricking people into thinking he was going to make it legal. After fleecing thousands of donors and bringing MDMA close to the final stage, he switches to a for profit company, leaving all his benefactors with only his word. Were he to succeed, MDMA would be 'legal' for his operation, though the public paid for it. His sessions, to all those poor vets they say they can help, would be $15K bucks for a few sessions. It is high time this fraud is outed and we devise new and equitable models to develop the properties of this wondrous drug. You need a lesson in psychedelic history and a better understanding of the Controlled Substanc Act, which is the root of the problem.
The MDMA is not the only medicine that veterans have lost access to; they also are refused treatment of pain with proven medications like full agonist opioids and they are refused medication to treat anxiety like benzodiazepines. We are a third world country with a facade of a first world country, a very VERY thin facade.
