Hi everyone,
As we head toward the end of the year, I want to take a moment to thank all of you for following The Illusion of Consensus. What began as a simple attempt to have more honest conversations around science, culture, and politics has grown into something far larger than I expected.
Your support, feedback, and thoughtful messages truly keep this project alive.
To welcome more listeners and readers into our core community — and to help us push the show to the next level — we’re running our biggest sale of the entire year.

⭐️ What You Get as a Paid Subscriber
• Monthly Q&A with me
A long-form, honest discussion where I answer questions submitted directly by subscribers — whether it’s politics, science, culture, journalism, or behind-the-scenes details of the show.
• Ability to submit questions to our guests
If you have a thoughtful question for a world-class scientist, thinker, or public figure we’re interviewing, you can send it in and we may ask it directly on air. If we use one of your questions, you will be given credit with a mention!
• Early access to exclusive interviews
Full-length conversations delivered before anyone else hears them, including extended interviews that won’t be released publicly.
• You support genuinely independent media
Your subscription directly helps me continue producing rigorous, honest conversations that aren’t filtered through institutional pressure or mainstream incentives.
🎙️ Where We’re Going in 2026
Over the past few months, I’ve been working behind the scenes to drastically upgrade the show.
I’ve begun assembling a small team to help me improve production quality, expand our guest outreach, and bring more depth and polish to our episodes. I’ve onboarded my friend Parker who left his civil engineering job to be the Illusion of Consensus business and logistical manager and Ben who is now the YouTube manager of the show (crafting bespoke thumbnails, titles, and descriptions for every episode + 4 clips a week to grow our reach). We’re also looking to hire someone to make eye-catching short-form clips (90 seconds or less) for Instagram, X, Tik Tok, and YouTube shorts.
I’d say we’re off to a great start (praying to the elusive YouTube algorithm Gods to start rewarding us!):

This is a big step, and it’s only possible because of your support.
In a couple of days, I’ll be sharing a short video explaining some of these changes — and where the podcast is headed next.
Upcoming Guests
Upcoming guests include a mix of top-rated political commentators, scientists, and practitioners in various fields who can provide knowledge and tools to improve your life.
We’re coordinating with guests such as Bret Weinstein, Maajid Nawaz, Ben Shapiro, and others.
We will host top consensus-shattering experts in fields such as addiction, nutrition, trauma, evolutionary psychology, mindfulness practice, and more.
Stay tuned!
🙏 A Personal Note
If you’ve been enjoying the podcast, the conversations, the long-form interviews, or the written reflections — I would sincerely appreciate your support as a paid subscriber.
Independent journalism and honest conversations take time, travel, research, and resources. Every subscription helps me deepen this work, reach more people, and elevate the quality of what I create.
